DAGALA THOUSAND LAKES TREK (5 Days)
Day01. Gynekha-Gur
(Altitude 3290, Walking Distance 7 km, 5 hrs)
• The trek start from a small Gynekha village with a short descent crossing a suspension bridge, then you start climbing till you reach towards the huge rock platform
• From there after walking 2 hours you will reach Gur.
Day02. Gur-Labatamba
(Altitude 4300m, Walking Distance 12 km, 6 hours)
• While trekking across the beauty of rugged mountain vegetation you will see the view of whole Dagala village.
• Passing through some of yak herder’s camp to the foot of the broad Labatamba valley near Uthso Tsho.
• The campsite is near to the lake.
Day03. Labatamba –Panka
(Altitude 4000m, Walking Distance 8 km, 6-7 hours)
• The trail climbs along the western side of the Dala Lake up to saddle at 4500 meters, from where you can have a good view of mountain. From the pass there is another lake 4350 meters. After that you need to walk a short distance to reach Panka
Day04. Panka-Talakha
(Altitude 3080m, Walking Distance 8 km, 5 -6 hours)
• The day leads crossing a several pass. From here you will start a long descent to Talakha Gompa
• Camp is right beside the monastery
Day05. Talakha-Chamgang
(Walking Distance 6 km, 3 hours, 440 meters descent)
• Walk down to the feeder road which will lead to Chamgang.
• From there the vehicle will picked you.
